The Green Apple Environment Award

Through the work undertaken with our clients, one of our flagship sites was able to win The Green Apple Environment award, an award that recognises and rewards environmental best practice. 

The Green Apple Environmental Awards were established in 1994 as an annual campaign to recognise, reward and promote environmental best practice around the world. 

We created a case study on our flagship site in highlighting how we had made huge steps with key assets in reducing the site’s carbon footprint. Projects including LED lighting upgrades, BMS strategy overhaul, live plant monitoring and heat recovery upgrades were key to our success in winning the award for this site. After implementing these strategies and changes, we reduced the building energy consumption by approximately 20%.
